  • Getting Contacts off a Damaged HTC Wildfire

I’ve got a HTC Wildfire S with a damaged screen. As such I can’t use any software that requires interaction with the phone to extract the contacts list. The user who’s phone it is is pretty desperate to get the contacts back.

Anyone aware of some software that can aggressively extract data?

If they’re sane then they will have stored the contacts on their Google account rather than the phone itself. The phone just syncs with Google every now and again.

Isn’t it an Android phone..? Mine syncs all contacts with my Google account, which I can access from any PC, phone etc. Sorry if it’s a daft question, but have you already tried that?

    /data/data/com.android.providers.contacts/databases/contacts2.db

USB connect and navigate to that folder.
