Excellent news. I remember feeling cold now you mention it; dressed only in a thin gown and under just a light blanket, I was bloody freezing. They keep you cold for a reason apparently, but I can't remember why.
Didnt feel like sleep at all to me just like someone spliced two bits of my life together. Last thing I remember was saying – no my arm feels cold. Next was opening my eyes and asking if it was done yet.
2nd last op I knocked back the g/a. Didn't fancy it had a spinal injection being awake was a Interesting experance. The last op I had I did have a g/a due to what the were planing on doing to my knee, you can't be sleeping IMO when ur under It feels weird when you wake up
only ga I've had, I came round in the recovery room still with a tube in my throat. They whipped it out pretty quick, but for a brief period that wasn't nice.
