  • Garmin touring can it have 2 maps to switch between ?

    Hi all, I have just purchased a Garmin touring device and got a new sd card and installed osm maps on it which worked fine when put in the garmin but when i plugged the garmin into the computer and updated it the base maps seem to over write the osm maps. is there a way I can switch between to too or do i have to wipe the sd card and reload the osm maps then not update the device ?

    You can choose which maps display. I can’t remember where in the menu you set it though. Let me turn mine on and have a look!

    Tools > Trip Pages > Map > Select map information
