    Hello

Does anyone know a way of getting the off road maps for the edge 705 a simpler, easier, free way please.

I don’t mind paying £150! But I’d rather not. I have also had difficulties getting the deatil of my rides onto google earth. Anyone have any advice please?

    Thanks

It depends where you want maps of. There are good-quality open source maps of the western US and of Spain and Portugal but I don’t know of any free topo maps for the UK (there is the OpenStreetMap project -but I’m assuming that’s not much use for off-road).

You might want to try downloading the latest version of Google Earth which (I think) supports direct upload from GPses.

you can export individual rides you have done from Training Centre (which is free from garmins site). Just right click on the date and click export. you should be then be able to import it to whereever you like.
