Will garmin connect push new ride info automatically to strava thus saving me from having to use Tapirik all the time? I thought they had stopped supporting that but i did resd that quite a while ago.

Yes. They’ve been doing it for ages, think you do it via Strava.

it needs to be from Connect as the ride info is coming straight from my edge 25?

All you need to do is add garmin under the my apps (cant quite remember how to do it since it was ages back). Then it will grab from connect.

As madhouse says, yes it just works. Go to your strava profile and garmin connect is one of the options under ‘social connections’. Set up your details there and they stay synchronised.

I have connect already set up as a social connection but it has never sync’d. Can i manually sync it seen as automatically doesnt appear to work?

It seems to be working now, i disconnected and reconnect and its just pulled my morning ride through. Thanks everyone for the pointers.
