    has anyone else has problems since upgrading the firmware?

    i can no longer get the history off the device using training centre, the tcx files are not valid

    mapping drops out randomly, causing the routes to go all over the place

    anyone? i’d rather find a solution on here than send it back to garmin

    i’ve upgrading mine with every firmware from release to 2.60. not had any problems.

    hmmm thanks

    just opened the history files using firefox (renamed them as xml files) and their seems to be an error in them. bugger.

    Did you do a hard reset after the software update, this sometimes helps.

    Have you tried calling their tech department? Email me while I’m at work tomorrow and I can probably give you a direct line.

    My experience of the Garmin tech dept is “have you done a hard reset”, if that doesn’t work “send it back to us” and we’ll send you another (in the mean time you’ll be without it for about 10 days).
