    Gordon Bennet. This is likely to be far too much info for the OP i suspect.

    OP – call up one of the computer making websites, and tell them what you want. They will build you something. Don’t go to PC World.

    You have a fair range of choice depending on how much money you want to spend.

    SSD – Get a decent sized SSD drive (or an M.2 if you can afford it). 250GB minimum really

    SSD isn’t required – the only reason I have is for video rendering. all the games are on a normal drive.

    It’s not so much for games (although helps a little with loading times), more for the OS – it makes a very noticeable difference to boot times and general OS performance when it’s doing anything involving storage.
