- Full suss AM – Pronghorn PR6-LT – Now splitting.
Hi, for sale is my large Pronghorn PR6-LT trail/am bike and would suit riders of around 6ft and upwards. It’s a seriously nice frame but I need the money to get myself a new road bike. Frame weight was quoted as 2540g which is mega light for the travel and manages to be reasonably stiff at the same time, (though not as stiff as chunkier frames for obvious reasons). It would be ideal for a racer type who wants to fly up the hills but still be able to tackle some rockier more technical downs at speed. I’ve used it in CyB (local centre) and its awesome, you can just sit and pedal over pretty much anything, quite a good feeling! In terms of spec I’m sure most people on here will be able to identify most parts by sight (probably know the claimed weights and RRPs too lol) but here’s a brief list:
Forks: DT EXC 150s QR (non tapered)
Wheels: Hope Hoops on Stans Flows
Mechs: R – XTR F – XT
Brakes: Magura Marta (RED!)
Cranks: KCNC XC2 175mm 29/42
A few items to be aware of are that it has full Goodridge braided hose, and the forks are QR but I’ve put one of those mega fat skewers on (9mm thrubolt I think) and it’s stiffened it up nicely.
I will accept a grand for the full bike.
Also I am now considering splitting for parts as I’ve had no luck selling as a whole, subject to getting a buyer for the frame first. PM me for details/prices on individual parts.Posted 4 years ago
