I have a set of fulcrum 700 racing 650 b wheels on my gravel bike which are tubeless ready and vee rubber zilent tubeless tyres, I have ordered stans universal valves and sealant to do the job only to find out on the fulcrum website they only advise Schwalbe tyres and any other tyre is forbidden, surely any tubeless cincher tyre will work I mean what’s the worse that can happen, cheers

Tyre leaps off the rim on a descent and kills you?

Classic case of arse covering,They can’t test everything, and standards are so variable, they have gone with one manufacturer whose products usually work.

I have two sets of fulcrum 900,on one I run Schwalbe,on the other I have WTB.Both work equally well.

Yes Mavic say that their tubeless wheels are only to be used with their own tyres. Most people just ignore it .
