- FS – Time Speeder Frameset M/55 (road content)
Up for grabs is my 2009 55cm/ Medium Time Speeder frame and fork, it has been used as my summer bike since then and clocked up a decent amount of miles, other than last year when summer never really made it! As such condition is as per the pics, it has marks and scuffs but these are only cosmetic and imo it still looks really tidy, and has been heli-taped in numerous places and as my best bike it has been shown some love. It’s quite hard to pick up the marks in the photos, but I can only assure you there are no deep scratches or anything other than scuffs and marks.
Included in the sale is the quickset headset, which is integral so couldn’t really come without it. The top bung in the photo, has some marks but I also have a spare unused one I’ll throw in. It’s got the time carbon spacers that came with it, and the bolts that came with the frame for the brakes (not the brakes, just the bolts), and the pins for adjusting the quickset. There is 50mm of steerer tube coming out of the headset, but as you can see from the geometry it’s relatively generous head tube, and the quickset spacer is about 20mm in itself. BB is British standard and the threads are in good order. The seat post collar is a 14g ti-bolted FHM one.
The reason for sale is simply I’ve been allowed to upgrade, and it’s a one in one out policy in our house and seems to much to turn into my winter bike!
Size wise, I’m just under 5’10 and used it with a 110mm stem and 15mm layback seat post. Not sure you would want to be much smaller than me, but would suit taller imo. Anyway, here is a link to the geometry.
And links to reviews;
I would like to get £375 posted for it, and could chuck in an ultegra front mech, and an alu Syntace P6 seat post to help get you going. I’m based in Ashbourne, Derbyshire if you want to see it.
