    In a quest to reduce bikes and decorate the house, reluctantly my 29er will have to go.

    Santa Cruz Superlight 29er, Size Small, 2012. Upgraded with RP23 Shock Spec as follows:-

    Rockshock Revelation forks with lock out
    Easton Haven Carbon bars
    1×10 setup with SLX chainset, Chromag 32 chainring, Cassette is upgraded with a 42T rear sprocket(for those V steep hills!).
    XT Bottom Bracket
    Shimano XT Brakes with 180 front floating, 160 fixed rear discs
    Stans Crest Front wheel, Stans Arch EX rear – Hope Hubs
    Currently setup tubeless.
    Tyres – loads – 2xMaxxis Ikon 3C(the expensive ones), 2xSpesh Purgatory, 1xBontrager Mud X, 1xArdent, 1xKenda Small Block8 2.1
    Reverb Dropper post, about 2 years old, serviced last year
    Truvative AKA Stem
    Flux Saddle
    Sixc Carbon Bars
    SLX Clutch rear mech
    Superstar pedals with Ti axles
    Hope Headset
    Xt Shifter
    Single ring Chain Device

    Ahh, looks like I need to split !

    Cassette adapter was from States via ebay, works well and lasted OK so far.

    Sorry to distract the thread, how did you get on with the 42tooth cog. I was considering one but the weight and risk of freehub damaga put me off. Did you bolt yours into the cassette at all?

    Yes, Forks reduced, I think to 120mm.

    Its fine, overall the bike still only weighs 27.5lbs so don’t really see the weight. I’m not that fit, so handy to fall back on from time to time/end of long rides/stoopid steep hills.

    Sorry, it was Ebay. Its been great, freehub looks ok.
