Can i put a front rack on a carbon fork with mudguard eyes? (genesis equilibrium)

It’d only be a light rack to support a randonneur bag.

I’m not so worried about the weight (10kg absolute max) but more the resistance to flex.

I’m resigned to the fact that i will die, i’d just rather that it wasn’t related to my bike fork snapping when i do a bad.

Avoid p-clips on the fork legs, but if it’s attaching to the dropout eyelets and the crown then I can’t see there being any problem.

There was a very good thread recently on the merits of fork-mounted racks via bar-mounted bags…… 😆

A mudguard mount flexing? Eh? How?

If it’s integral to the (aluminium) fork end then you will be fine.

You think they will crush th carbon?

sorry, obviously not clear. I meant restricting the carbon fork from flexing by triangulating it with the rack.
