Just had my rock lobster built up by my local bike shop.The frame is quite old school.The problem is that the bike has had various square bottom brakets and different front mechs – but with each set up the shop can’t get the chain to run clear of the front mech – in smallest and largest gears.Has anyone expierienced this problem or any suggestions.

Are you running double or triple up front? 9spd or 10spd?

9 speed triple !

They haven’t fitted a new 10 speed front mech have they by accident? I haven’t checked, but someone said the other day they have a narrower cage?

They said they had tried a couple of front mechs without any joy.But I will double check.Thanks for the help.
