I’m sure there are 1 or 2 taking delivery of frames or complete builds today.

I’ve had my Solaris (mk1) for nearly 3 years now and it has had various tweaks to it’s build and set up.

Thought I’d share a picture of the latest guise, with new tyres and after Upgrade Bikes lived up to their name and got my X Fusion forks working the best they ever have!

This turned up last week and is currently half built in the garage, awaiting a rear wheel which is at the LBS.

As the weather has been so nice the other Cotic (Rocket26) went out for an evening ride down the local woods. At the bottom of the valley it was quite spooky…

(terrible quality to be honest, really need a phone without sand in the sensor)

Hmmm, much as I enjoy my Mk2 Soul i can feel a Solaris itch developing. Here’s mine from last year, might just finish early and head off for a ride on what may be Scotland’s summer.

My Solaris- Pikes, XT/SLX, Reverb, bit of Hope.

Here’s my Solaris Max enjoying the evening sun. Wonderful bike and lovely to ride the problem is I just don’t like it! It’s great ride and handles the trail so nicely. It’s just every time I ride it, it feels like I’m riding a bike one size to small for me.

They’re all old-ish pics. The BFe’s hanging on the wall like a hunting trophy at the minute and the Flare has a dropper, black forks and 26+ wheels/tyres.

We had a mooch over to watch a local cricket match last night (Soul) and today we had a brill ride out (Flare) in the sunshine 😀 I’ll be using the Soul to bool up to South Shields on Sunday for the food festival, maybe stopping at Latimer’s in Whitburn on the way up for tea and kippers on toast, om nom nom…

Quite fancy a Rocket too, to complete the set like…

BFe’s in the wild; at the top of the Nan Bield Pass a couple of weeks ago. Mines Green and the other belongs to a mate 8)

That’s awful. You should give it to me in order to ease your pain. I’ve had a Bfe, Roadrat and Escapade and would love to own a Flare, Solaris or Soul one day (plus another Escapade for pootling duties).
