Anyone got any bodges for getti g the straps to fit more snuggly?

Tubes are too skinny to get them to fasten on the intended part of the strap.

Building up the tube where the strap goes isn’t really an option as the gear cable runs over the top tube.

As a last case scenario Is there a bag that has straps that work with thinner tubes?

This is my Restrap bag (I think they make the Cotic ones too) on my Stanton:

Alpkit ones (at least the one I have) have detachable straps – so you could just source smaller straps yourself.

Alpkit webbing ladders and replaceable double-sided velcro will work with any size tube. So will the Wildcat straps on my current frame bag, but I had to cut them short to suit skinny steel tubes, so wonder how they’d fare if put back on an aluminium frame. I think the alpkit approach is the most versatile.
