  • Fox 29er forks. Can I swap the CSU between O/B and Fit?
  • I’ve got FOX Open Bath forks on my Lynskey with a slight leak, but the stanchions look good.
I’ve also got a pair of Fox Fit forks with scored stanchions.
The obvious thing to do, while I’ve got the O/B forks stripped down to replace the seals, is to upgrade them to Fit at the same time by using the O/B CSU, Fit internals and also the Fit lowers if needed.

    Is that possible?

I’ll strip both forks and see if the parts look like they’ll fit, but it would be nice if someone could tell me in advance that it definitely will, or won’t, work.

Someone must have done it, or at least tried.

32mm, yes top cap threads are the same from 2007 onwards, as long as travel and spec match shouldn’t be an issue, or you could just swap the FIT damper to the ob ones, so you don’t have issues with bushing adjustment between lowers and csu units

    Thanks Loco.
It turned out there was a bit of wear in the bushes as well as the stanchions on the Fit fork, so all I did in the end was swap the internals over and it’s all working fine.
