Honestly, I thought cheap lager with cheap,spiced rum was for people,other than me, but it’s quite tasty…

I was weaned on Fosters – Tis a fine lager for a hot sunny day.

Me, I’d take pretty much any ale over Aussie cooking lager.

I don’t mind drinking it, although I only sold once in Oz in the 12 months I was there, in a Brit themed pub in Sydney.

The problem is the day after, all those lagers like Carling and Fosters give me outrageous hangovers, where as the stronger Heinikan (or however it’s spelt) doesn’t.

Co-op wheat beer is the worth though, tastes nice but I get a banging headache before I’ve finished the first bottle.

Well, sticking spiced rum in it seems to work. It’s obviously teenage juice and I wouldn’t drink it again after my experiment. On the third of four cans now, one to go before it gone.

Heineken only has the holy trinity (water, malted barley and hops) + a bit of magic yeast in it.

Rumour has it that Fosters has corn syrup amonst the other shit they put in it these days. Truly hateful stuff.

I can’t drink the 2-star lager, but will drink 4-star if there’s no ale available (just to be polite, probably leave after one).
