I recently purchased a set of Formula the one brakes . . The rear brake lever assembly has a seal effectively where the rear of the lever body meets the handlebars. . The front one doesn’t. . I can’t work out if there should be a seal or I the exposed metal is how it should be. . I think they are 2010 model. . Could anyone have a look at theirs please to tell me how theirs are set up cheers

2010 was the handover year for The Ones I think, from the old slightly ropey design to a newer and fantastic one. If it’s the later model, the lever diaphragm backs against the bars, so it’s not exactly a seal, but it is sealed, if you know what I mean. There’s more than one design of this part as it was revised after a little while, so they could look very different but be doing the same job.
