I need to insure another vehicle for my business but have been quoted stupid money because i cant use my NCD with second vehicle.

Would fleet insurance be cheaper for both vehicles

Ive only ever had one vehicle at a time before.

    Help 🙂

Jumping in because I am interested too.

    Never understood this NCD thing.

The discount is for me not the vehicle so why can’t it be used on both policies?

It’s something thats always confused me a bit as well – I suppose it’s just the money grabbing insurance companies ways of having their cake and eating it.

We pay about £750 a vehicle for fleet insurance. Four merc vans and a Volvo xc90. Anyone over the age of 25 can drive.
    £250 excess.

    I have an update:

I rang Aviva last night and can insure my 59 transit and my new 4×4 vehicle for only £80 more than just my transit with Direct line. They give full no claims for second vehicle.

    Result!
