I’m just in the process of converting my Hope Pro 2 Evos to 142x12mm . Daft question, but how do yu remove teh old QR endcaps…. do you just pull them, and any tips of tricks? So far I have managed to mark the 9mm bit of the old one, and pinched my finger with the pliers… blood blister forming nicely….

Pull old ones out – vice helps
    Push new ones in

Try dribbling a little GT85 inside the cap to lubricate the O-ring that holds it on (they’re incredibly stubborn when dry), and wiggling it off.A pair of water-pump type pliers are pretty good for this job, even better if they have non-serrated jaws to reduce marking.

They’re off now, thanks. It took a surprising amount of force to remove the drive side one, plus a bit of wiggling as coatesy says.
