I saw curlews and larks whilst walking along a section of Hadrian’s wall 2 weeks ago. It was great!

We also saw lapwings up on the moors in Co. Durham on the drive home

Been looking and looking but no sigh here yet (South Manchester).
The Sky lark, Curlew, wheatear, golden plover and lapwings have been up on the nearest moor for a few weeks.

    Summer is on its way.

Pretty sure I saw one disappearing into one of our stables last night. The stable I was going to block up to stop them shitting everywhere inside it, so I guess I left that too late…

Give them a day and they will bugger off. The weather is terrible, again.
