First ride on the BFe , first ride on a steel frame in 21 years.I forgot how stiff steel is and how much a alu softens the ride . First ride with clip less pedals ,i got cut up by a car and had to stop, couldn’t get my feet off the pedals and over i went still clipped in. Ouch my wife was following pissing her self. The BFe rode well, very stiff frame great out the saddle on the hills ,tracks well but i reckon its gonna be harsh on my wheels, ive got 3 more days of rides planned and a camping trip so lets see what she has got ?
