It looks like I’ve agreed to do a ‘mini’ duathlon which takes place at the end of April.
It consists of: 5k run, 20k cycle, 2.5k run.
I’m running 5k at around 22 minutes at the moment but I’ve started doing some Parkruns so I’m aiming to knock that down a little in the next few months.
Not really sure what I should be wearing that will do me for the run and the cycle….. I shouldn’t be on the bike too long so if I just did it all in running tights ( and changed shoes ) would I regret it 5 miles into the cycle?!
I guess I can go without food so I assume some liquid on the bike would see me through?
Any tips?
