Did anyone send an email to claim their free fibrax brake pads. I did ages ago and have just recieved an email saying that they were unable to offer me any free pads. However they listed some “great” new products and said i had qualified for a 20% discount. Hmmmmmmmm…..
Did anyone actually get any free pads ?

Sounds like they need reporting to trading/advertising standards.

I emailed them at the time but haven’t had any response or received any pads as of yet

One of my mates did and had an emial back last week asking which pads he wanted.
I did too and haven’t heard a thing.

yes I got the email saying sorry no pads but offering 20% off.

Don’t do organic pads for Formula RX but they do Sintered but the offer was for free organic pads.

Surely if you wanted your pads “show cased” to a mass market you would offer the sintered ones??

Perhaps they just wanted a database of free loaders 😉

I emailed almost as soon as I saw the ad- the day I got the latest mag. Nothing.

yeah i had the same e mail as valleydaddy. be interesting to know if anyone actually got any at all ?btw i responded saying i also have Hope Tech X2s guess what they don’t have any of those either ! :evil:straight back to Superstar methinks !

Like many, I emailed, got a reply asking for pad type and an address. So far, nothing. This was three weeks ago.

Me also, got e-mail requesting my address, then today got the none to offer and 20% off. So does that mean i’ll be getting loads of crap mail/post sent to my house?

I have two bikes and went for the Hope ones rather than the Shimano ones, assuming that less people would ask for them. Looks like I was right. Cool.

Got mine a day or two ago – Shimano ones. My front brake’s pretty low now, so I’ll fit them and see how they survive a bit of peak district grit bashing.
