Anyone done it?

It’s part of day 1 of the Haute Route which I’m planning to do in the summer but my research so far suggests it might be a carry down as well as up.

Why don’t you contact the guys who made the Haute Route film featured on midweek mini movies recently

awesome exposed trail from col de balme down to dessus and then trient valley to access the climb up to the Arpette.

Not been up to the Arpette, but looks bouldery at the top! still its an adventure.. and not all going to be rideable!! lower down could be epic…

quick look on google earth shows singletrack lower down towards champex. jump on the chair there for some added vert 😛
