Thunders live double album is great, as is the first Queen live album – Live Killers? – far more atmospheric than the 1985 Wembley gig that gets all the attention
Bjork – Vespertine Live is pretty amazing. But then it would be, because she's fantastic 🙂
My vote however also goes to Nirvana – Unplugged In New York. Utterly captivating and really captures the spirit of the band. The cover of Bowies The Man Who Sold The World is one of my favourite songs of all time.
Four easy listening faves I couldn't choose between.
Skinny Puppy – Ain't it dead yet? – 68 minutes all on track one of the CD!
Spiritualized – @ Royal Albert Hall.
Ministry – In Case you didn't feel like showing up.
Revolting Cocks – You goddamned son of a bitch.
I think my favourite has to be The Orb live @ Glastonbury 1993 it was a good experience for me there & then – and I enjoyed hearing some of the set again on the LP Orb Live'93 or on the tape I sernedipitously recored off Radio 1 not long afterwards
Mind you Orbital played the following year, and the live Gasto compoliation album releeased awile back inspires too
