Fantastic ride up Farleton Knott last night – pics
Well we decided to venture up to farleton rather than rivvy for out Wed night ride. Glad we did, it was brill, dry, dusty trails, just the right temperature, finished with no need for lights and a cracking sunset and views.
just like a dry summer, but colder 🙄

Was up there the other day with JY and Donk – it’s riding fantastically well at the moment. Weird riding dry, dusty trails in sunshine then looking around and seeing snow covered peaks.
Here’s a thread in a simlar vein I made a few months ago:
People should bear in mind all the good riding is cheeky there so act responsibly.Posted 4 years agoShibbolethMember
I love riding The Knot, you don’t need any GPX or anything to have fun up there – it’s very compact and you can easily cover the whole thing in 3hrs.
Half the fun of somewhere like Farleton is finding little paths through the gorse. We tend to do 3 or 4 climbs and descents. Cracking little hill! 😀Posted 4 years ago
On a cheeky note, does anyone add in the area around Hutton Roof to extend a Farleton ride?
