Oldest will be 6 next year and would like to see Paris and France. We also will have a 4 year old and a 1 year old.

We were considering doing a bit of the Danube and using the trailer for the little ‘uns and camping as we go. We’d only be doing about 15-30km a day as that’s what the big one can probably manage.

Question: Any suggestions of where else would be good to do this? Looking for maximum off road (ideally no where near road) touring for probably a 100-150km distance. We’d drive from home then do a loop or an out and train back. One of us could even ride back to the start on the last day to collect the car.

Shower me with your thoughts and experience please!

In France you have the Vélodysee Eurovelo 6down the Atlantic coast. We have done Cap Ferret to Biarritz.  Prob the best bit for off road.

    Nantes Brest canal is good.

    Also Loire castles.

Also canal du midi but not done it.

We have toured with our 2 every year since they were 1 1/2 for 3 weeks every summer. Denmark is prob the best. Also done Holland and Adige valley: italy/ austrian border to Vérone and Lake Garda.

    Feel free to ask more.
