- Faith No More reforming
Is anyone else as excited about this as me? I admit I’ve kinf of let the dust settle on my FNM albums but I’m deicating this afternoon to an ALL-FNM mania day on Spotify.
Love the fact the website is untouched for 11 years too 🙂
Who’ll join me?Posted 11 years ago
No Jim Martin 🙁Posted 11 years ago
Kewl. That news came ‘from outta nowhere’

No Jim? No FNM.
Was listening to Live at Brixton in the car this morning as well.Posted 11 years ago

Creative Peak Rule, classic case.

Roddy Bottum, best name ever.Posted 11 years ago

GNAGNAR – We Care A LotPosted 11 years ago
No Big Jim!! Disappointing news..
They’ll have to ask his replacement ‘Introduce yourself’..Posted 11 years ago
No JM? Hmmmm…
Mike Patten or Chuck Mosely on vocal?Posted 11 years ago
Ooh, I’ve just had flashbacks to Brixton Academy in 1992 – mad, mad night, having to drag my mate up out of the mosh pit as he’d been knocked down, couldn’t get up and was being trampled. Brilliant night 🙂
Interesting to see Jo posting on this thread since I spotted some FNM lyrics in a mint episode the other week (Midlife crisis in fact)Posted 11 years ago
Patten on vocals. Jon Hudson on Guitar (Album of the Year).Posted 11 years ago

Probably 😉Posted 11 years ago
I’ve got that feeling it has to be Patton on vocalsPosted 11 years ago
Saw em in about ’89 – Patton is one of the most chrismatic frontmen I’ve ever seen. Worth seeing live for him, although I usually have no interest in bands reforming for ‘greatest hits’ tours.Posted 11 years ago
Reforming? I demand ‘Evidence’. Hope it’s true, it would be a ‘small victory’. Actually it’d be fookin’ ace. I loved FNM. Saw ’em @ Sheffield Arena in ’92 iirc – Angel Dust tour.Posted 11 years ago
😀Posted 11 years ago
No need to ‘Be Agressive’ 😉Posted 11 years ago
Ah, Epic… Truly a track worthy of its title.
Its so cool, its so hip, its alrightPosted 11 years ago
Its so groovy, its outta sight
You can touch it, smell it, taste it so sweet
But it makes no difference cuz it knocks you off your feet
EPIC – I just lurrveee that song…
Brings back memories of the Rock Club Disco at Coventry Poly! 🙄Posted 11 years ago
Was he on crack, Hitler, that is?Posted 11 years ago
bad, bad idea.
plus, i agree with the captain’s first comment. no jim, no FNM. regardless of how charismatic (or not) patton may be…
anyone wanna buy my mr bungle demo tape then? go on… 50 quid and it’s yours.Posted 11 years ago
Fantastic, heard rumours about this about a month ago. Don’t care about Jim, it’s Patton’s voice that makes the songs for me. Still wear my Angel Dust tour shirt from time to time, and FTM songs pop up regularly on my iPods, in fact Midlife Crisis played randomly this morning. Time for Soundgarden to reform as well. One thing I always liked about FTM was their sense of humour when doing covers; The BeeGee’s, Midnight Cowboy soundtrack, etc.Posted 11 years ago
Anyone for a Jizzlobber?Posted 11 years ago

Christ Cap’t, you’re such a Jizzlobber.*
* Not really matey, but I had to find somebody on this thread to aim it at… Brilliantly over-used in the distance past of Uni. The term. Not the practice. Ahem. 😀Posted 11 years ago
Man. Beaten to it – I shouldn’t have made a cuppa mid-construct!Posted 11 years ago
Anyone else got their first album. It was called “we care a lot” and came out on mordam records before the “introduce yourself” album. Its quite rare and yes I am being a bit smug 🙂Posted 11 years ago
black flag; yes.Posted 11 years ago
anyone else see them live with chuck singing?
yes, i’m being smugger!
Jim’s bumble bee outfit was awesome!Posted 11 years ago
i have we care a lot. Only on tape thoughPosted 11 years ago
´Lets just hope they dont Bungle the comeback tour.Posted 11 years ago
it would be bordering on malpractice if they did reform and while some might think it be a small victory if they did I think the majority would think it to be falling to pieces. It may be that you want it all but I think my fond memories of them would only get smaller and smaller. But hey, I’m easy like Sunday morning….. 😀Posted 11 years ago
Blackflag yes…Posted 11 years ago
& I saw Blackflag live back in ’82 too,& I’m being really smug 8)

Had the lp (and much other FNM vinyl) Sold it on ebay to fund bike purchases. I hardly played the first album it as a) it was so rare, and b) its not a fab record really is it? I loves Angel Dust the best.Posted 11 years ago
