    Morning All,

I was fortunate to receive a new Diablo helmet light yesterday and was wondering if the charger that came with it is compatable with the Exposure MaxxD that I already have or vice versa?

I’m assuming it is as the connection is the same (obviously) but the details on the charger are different

    Diablo charger
    Model DSS-042150
    Input 100-240v 50/60Hz 0.5Amax
    Output DC 4.2v — 1.5A

    MaxxD charger
    Model Exp422A
    Input the same but 0.6Amax
    Output the same but 2.8A

Am I right in thinking that it just means the MaxxD charger will charge the Diablo light quicker due to the slightly higher output??

    Cheers

Wrong. I imagine the Diablo will charge at the same rate regardless of which charger you connect it to. Won’t do it any harm though.

The MaxxD may or may not charge on the Diablo charger but if it does it’ll be slower.

Yes they are compatible with each other. We have between us two Maxx D’s a Diablo and an Equinox. I never pay any attention to which charger I use.

Cool, main point being they’ll both work and it’ll not cause issues.

Also the remote switch from my Strada works with the Max D
