Interesting. On the one hand be good to see more extensive coverage than get on YouTube. Or will this see the end of free YouTube coverage and need Eurosport to view in future?

It reads like it’ll probably be a subscription to Eurosport. But, I suppose that’s the price of progress. If it brings better coverage, I may even be tempted to stump up for that. I’ve always found it a bit faffy to follow, but it’s possible that I’ve not put a huge amount of effort in. RedBull has made it too easy with their coverage of DH and XC.

I recognise I’m probably in the minority here, but for me it is the grass roots nature of EWS that appeals. I don’t follow any other form of racing with any real interest (though occasionally flirt with downhill). I hope they stay at least a little bit true to their roots. As you it’s the price of progress…
