I may also be involved in this kind of work in the short term. Certainly something that’s been discussed a lot with our products.

How much of our £350 million will this swallow up?
They will need to create a special department for this and they will need a logo and a catchy motto which will have to be dreamt up by the cream of our creative industry who just happen to be owned by a Tory MPs wife and then Zombie Maygot will change her mind and the whole thing will be a monumental **** up all paid for by “The Hard Working British Taxpayer”.

The Register is reporting that Defra is recruiting 1400 policy people to handle its increased work load after brexit so dont think there will be a lot left for this minor IT project.

I am guessing it’s involves heads and sands – correct ?

No, just give NI to the Republic, if the Republic don’t want NI, no longer the rUK’s problem.

THM, just looking at ways to solve the border issue. About as well planned a solution as most others cropping up.

Calls for an ‘invisible’ or ‘frictionless’ digital Border between the Republic and Northern Ireland that could be policed through technology are “complete nonsense,” a number of leading security research specialists have said.

    What’s happened?

In VERY simplistic terms the brexiteers have realised that they need a supra national court, a bit like the ECJ that they were promising to leave. That leaving might not be a good idea and that they might have to remain under its influence for years to come.

    What’s happened

The gov has admitted the ECJ is an integral part of our economy and laws and all the xenophobic tabloid pandering idiocy of the brexiteers can’t change that. No matter how hard they wish turns out the world has moved on from their 1950s little England fantasy …

    Or something like that

A brief glimpse at the bbc website had Enola May claiming that she was taking back control.
How can she claim such a thing? Or is she taking back control later on?
Anyway if the angry brigade are even angrier , GOOD.

€1.08 to Pound – Angry of Bedfordshire will have to stump up mucho Euros for a G&T in Benidorm this winter… still cheaper than staying home and paying for the gas

Would you lend money to a company that has no strategy other than a soundbite?

Dear Bank Manager please invest in my company which will deliver products that will be good for everyone.

    What sort of products.

    Red white and blue ones.

    Who’s everyone?

Half of everyone. Actually quite a bit less than half now. A lot of them are very old.

    I don’t think I’ll bother thanks……..

^^^^^^ How **** dare they. Just another example of Europpression.
Don’t they realise our glorious leader is a diabetic and and a lady god dammit.
Just goes to show what barbarians they are over there.
Back in the real world I frequent a motorbike forum which is very much the opposite of this place.
I asked which the first euro law they would overturn is. Just one person has responded ,saying that we would be able to claim that water hydrates.
So there you go ,your jobs aren’t being trashed in vain.

Remember those posts about how the Euro was a “failing” currency what with the Greek situation and how “we” needed to leave the EU because sterling was so much stronger?

Yup. If anything is a barometer of just how incompetent, out of touch and un-coordinated our government is, this is it.

The only good news is that such staggering ineptitude will ensure that the Conservatives will be in the electoral doldrums for a generation once the dust has settled.

I’ve been thinking about this and decided it’s a forlorn hope. With the press barons behind them and the f***w**s of the electorate swallowing the agenda based on nationalism from a century ago, it’ll continue for a long time yet.

    very much this

is QT on tonight? Mogg or whoever will pop up explain how superior British justice/trade/scones etc are and the angry of Beds brigade will cheer at the will of the people taking back control from the eussr

The very existence of “Moggentum” goes a long way to demonstrate how ideologically bankrupt modern conservatism has become. Nationalism will only win so many votes, especially when it’s obvious that cod-patriotism is hiding economic policies which will continue to make everyone -except those at the very top- poorer.

It’s interesting that this division exists in this country, i admit that I didn’t recognise it. Trouble is I now view certain people who I have known for most of my life in a very different way? I had no idea of the lack of education and understanding they have about how the world functions. The other thing that surprised me is how gullible they are and a monumental lack of understanding about how their quality of life is actually maintained.
