  • Enduro fork seals PITA to fit!?

I’ve just fitted some enduro fork seals to my Fox TALAS and had a nightmare of a time getting one of the wipers fitted, I followed the fitting guide to the letter but it just kept popping out.

Has anyone else had similar issues?

Did you ‘shrink’ them in the freezer first? They are tough otherwise.

I’ll try the freezer trick next time, thanks for the tip.

Pretty easy here, used a socket and a wee bit of super slick grease to press them on.

that’s odd because mine pressed in OK (using slick honey grease) but it just kept popping out again. As far as I could see the wiper was in all the way.

Possible issue with the depth of the machining on the top of your lowers perhaps. Few folk over in the states had issues due to this, have a looky on mtbr.
