I’m in the market for a windproof Gilet with some “light” insulation for spring/autumn. Ideally for use around 0 to 15 degrees, how’s the Endura MT500 Spray Gilet ? Any recommendations on sizing? Endura seem to be a bit random for sizing sometimes.

    31inch waist
Normally a medium, but have a few large in Endura.

No mesh back – I reckon I’d cook in that in anything other than cold conditions. OTOH I wear the Humvee gilet a lot

I was lucky enough to get one for £20 in the CRC fire sale. size XL fits fine 28inch waist 5ft.10″ reasonably muscular physic.

Why not get an Altura one for much cheapness.

I’m actually tempted myself to replace my crappy Endura Pro SL one (it was pretty good when new, then all the decals fell off and the insulation bunched up).

    Good review here:
