Currently 3rd, i do not like riding in heavy rain so we will see how long it lasts.

after a skity ride on saturday i canned the bike till i could winterize it …. its now sporting its winter shoes and gloves.

I can walk in 22 minutes, so won’t be in the winter commute one.
Not sure if I’ve missed the monthly challenge. Not seen any for a while.

Always a bit dubious of hidden workouts.

Ive only commuted twice since i started this, been to busy riding my proper bike, back to work now so should catch up a bit.

Why wouldn’t you hide your workouts on there?
Especially commuting as people you don’t know can see exactly where you live.
“Friends” can see the full workouts.

I hide all my work outs except to friends, it doesnt have the private zone like strava has.

I guess we are hoping people dont take the piss and add a 100mile loop onto their commute. A commute should be a point to point journey, i dont mind if extra miles are added on here and there or you feel like going the long way home etc etc but if your little extra sections actually exceed your total commute journey then its more of a training ride than a commute.

tbh my ride home last night – took much longer than my standard road commute – by 4 times as long – but distance wise it was the same – just off road. gert fun. figured out how to almost do door to door without riding on , only crossing roads pretty much.

I’m in, no idea why it’s only showing me as having done only 4.99 miles though.
