    ‘Noon, does anyone know what size bottom bracket the 2012 steel el mariachi frame takes??

    BSA 73mm I think.

    Just found it on the Salsa site! It is indeed 73mm English. Cheers for answering though.

    Just as a note, for some reason mine needed an extra 2.5mm spacer on my XTR cranks, I’ve not measured it but that implies the BB is on the narrow side for 73mm (i.e. more like 71-72mm). Either that or I lost some other spacer installing them.
