    As per title please guys.

Currently with my mate in this fine city at the end of a 3 day bike tour. He told me he’d been here a few times and knew his way about. He now admits it was for stag dos and his memory is rather hazy.

We want non touristy, non trendy wine bar in the city centre please.

    Cloisters and Bennets at Tollcross

Berts Bar and Tuechters in William St

Clarks Bar and Cumberland – new town

Bow Bar on Victoria St – near Grassmarket

Cafe Royal and Abbotford – Rose St

Mathers – Cask and Barrel – Broughton St

All these have good beer and atmosphere. If you’re looking for girls then maybe not!

The Blue Blazer (off Grassmarket), The Abbotsford (East end of Rose Street), Cafe Royal (off St Andrew’s Square) and Kay’s Bar (Jamaica Street) if you fancy something a little out of the way.
