  • eBay returns question – who issued the returns label?

I bought some headphones from an eBay seller that don’t work.
I requested a return and was told I would be sent a returns label by today.
I contacted the seller today and they have said:

Ebay are the ones that send the return label so you may need to contact them, or you can send it back to our address and we can still refund you once the items are returne.

Doesn’t look right to me, but I have been known to be wrong before 🙂
As a bit of extra information, the returns status is showing ‘Awaiting Action by Seller’

If it’s faulty and the seller has agreed to the return, eBay do issue the returns label.
