As above really…I’m bidding on a (used) watch where I felt my highest bid was close to what it’s worth but the reserve hasn’t been met. I’ve since asked the seller what the reserve is and it’s more than twice my bid!!! I wished them good luck and explained that I had the same watch a few years ago and had paid a lot less than what they’re looking for. I’ve told them I’ll increase my bid a bit more to take into account that they’ve had a new strap and battery fitted…not sure if they can accept this without relisting with a buy-it-now price though?

They’d have to relist or you’d have to deal outside of Ebay.

Are they likely to accept your offer though? Sounds like you’re worrying about something that won’t happen.

I’m not worrying, but true, it probably won’t happen. 🙁
