Bought item Best Offer marginally under asking price off eBay from private seller, item arrives direct from Wiggle complete with Haribo. Item is >10% dearer on Wiggle.

What’s the seller up to do we think? I have a few theories, just wondered if anyone’s had this before or if it’s a know tactic…

    Uhhhh, credit card fraud?

They pay with a stolen card and send it to you, you pay via PayPal they get the money?

Wiggle have an eBay outlet, “tri-sport_resort”. Any chance that was the seller?

Converting a gift voucher (either given to them by a friend or competition prize win or some sort of compensation from Wiggle).

If in doubt, contact Wiggle directly before your ebay returns/refund period elapses. You might not be the buyer but you will have an order number on the delivery note.

TriSport Resort is Wiggle’s eBay outlet store, they sell new, used/ex demo, and returned items cheaper than their website

One thing you have to watch out for is that they do not offer warranty on any items they sell on eBay according to thier listings and ive had that confirmed by whoever runs their eBay shop

That last bit isn’t often true.
