I have one I use for peadly rides, it’s very firm with little bob when setup not to blow through its travel but provides a better feel than my monarch or float running 10-15% sag to give the same platform, as a result it can be quite harsh for protracted rough stuff so I swap it out for rides where I want something plusher and more forgiving.

Of course it’s going to depend on your frame and you as much as anything.

I’ve got one of the XR Carbon ones on my XC bike. Rock solid when locked out, nice and soft when not, and ridiculously light. The rebound seems on the slow side but then I don’t think I’ve ever spent a decent amount of time setting it up.

Nothing about them would stop me having one on another bike.

Thanks for this info. Going to try one myself (purely for cheapness reasons).
Chainreaction have 200×57 versions (which fit both my bikes) for £85. Got to be worth a try,
