Depends, in my experience this is usually caused by people buying Non-DT bearings which aren’t within tolerance and/or bashing them in wonky with a hammer & a socket set and flaring the hub shell.
There was also an American ebay seller offering ‘DT compatible’ axles a while back, these were a tiny bit too small and tended to also generate play as a result.
So long as you’ve used all DT parts and fitted them using the proper tools then you shouldn’t have any play.
Can’t really say any more without having a look at the hub, maybe talk it back to the shop or give TF tuned (the U.K. service center) a call.
