Hi just wondering how often you service DT freehubs.
Mine was serviced when I bought it and quite quiet. I’ve done approx 250 mile on it and it sounds similar to Hope now just a bit quieter. They are the ratchet type.

    Cheers

Should be longer than 250 miles but they are dead easy to DIY.

When it needs it, which basically means when you can hear or feel grinding. They can benefit from a wee clean out occasionally though. Noise doesn’t mean much, the design means the noise naturally changes over time

Only weird thing with the dts is the bearings all age at different speeds, you’ll probably do the most outside ones way more often than the other one in the freehub, and the one behind the ratchet thing (that needs the special tool) lasts for absolutely ages.
