It currently has 8 speed double shifters, but no mechs or cranks (ideal would like 165mm cranks, if not 170mm) So I am either after some 8 speed mechs and a chainset (this would be the cheapest option) Another option would be to go 9 or 10 speed )and then run either a double or single up front, but that would need STI shifters as well (although I could use some MTB rear mechs I have) So anyone got anything in their shed/garage? Email in Profile or post on here please Posted 7 months ago thesurfbusMember Got a pair of Cane Creek crosstop levers you could have for £12 posted, I know when my son was younger he liked using them on his cross bike as found the hoods a bit of a stretch at times. Posted 7 months ago paul_mSubscriber thanks for the offer, the bike already has crosstop levers, it’s just the drivetrain I am missing. Posted 7 months ago cyclistmMember Where are you based? Posted 7 months ago marvincooperMember I have a Shimano 8 speed rear mech, cassette, triple chainset with sq taper BB, front mech and Sora brifters. All from a 2011 Specialized Secteur and all in good working order. Any of that of interest? Posted 7 months ago ReluctantMember I’ve got a VGC Sora rear mech which will work in an 8 or 9 speed set up. £15 posted.
