    1. Would you report it.
    2. Would you do it anonymous. Edit Achem

I’ve done it to my sister (constantly driving paralytic). Told them car type and reg, brief description of driver (other people had access to the car too), and dates/times/locations they’d catch her. I gave the info anonymously via e-mail (so not THAT anonymously).

Unfortunately she crashed into someone before they got to her, thankfully no one hurt but both vehicles totalled.

If you know someone drives pissed, you have a responsibility to report it. When they eventually crash into something, that something might be someone you love.

Got to drive pissed in the sticks ,no taxis but luckily no coppers either and all the farmers are in bed cos they milk at 4 am so no one to hit ,unless its a pissed farmer going to work 😉

The Tweet could be a load of bollocks by the pathetic teenage daughter who can be prone to tweet stupid comments, yet the mother has a history of driving after a few large wines. 😕

    I’d do it apocalyptically.

I’d just like to add (I’ve no idea why), that I’m no tea-totaling angel myself, with two DDs to my name as a lad, one of which happened whilst on the first ban! But driving when incapable of walking, as some do, is not on.

Then if it’s bollocks, she’ll be asked to provide a roadside breath sample, then get to go home if she blows under. The experience of being stopped by the Police may be enough to give her a kick up the arse. Job done & no harm done.

flippinheckler – yes, quick call to local police station.

too bad if there happens to be a cyclist or pedestrian in the way… perhaps someone else wandering home from the pub or the hills who gets in the way.

    tuckerUK: Not a crime anyway!

Ehh… Road Traffic Act 1988 s.30(1) – would need to check but I think max fine is £2500.

It’s been tested, does not cover pedal cycles. IIRC of course.

Having just checked I think an offence is only commited when a rider is drunk to the point of being dangerous, drink drive rules don’t apply. So yes, it could well be illegal.
