    Hi guys,

Anyone know how to do this? Am trying to plan a route for the summer in France. Doing this on the iPad which I then want to transfer to the Garmin(800). Need to do this on iPad as may need to alter plans as we go along and will have limited space in the panniers. Three weeks of routes!

When I connect at the moment I get a message saying there wasn’t enough power.

    Any ideas?

I know little about iPads, but….

When you plug in the Garmin it’ll be looking for an external power source which the iPad obviously(?) isn’t supplying over what I assume is the little USB adapter.

If you remove the SD card from the Edge and stick it in the iPad you could download the routes directly to that though? (mibbe?)

I’m after an Android Pad and will want to connect it to Edge 705 and Dakota 20, hence my interest.

Could you attach it through a powered usb hub?
