got a replacement frame last week so i did a bit of late night tinkering to get the parts transferred over form the outgoing frame…took me 1 hour to do the bulk of the transfer…only jobs left are to fit new gear cable and outer and shorten the steerer tube…

oh and its a 26″

the cushion is from upstairs,,,,my daughter brought it down and we keep forgetting to take it back up

the blue frame had a longer headtube but when i fitted the fork on i left it longer as that frame was only a temporary measure…its marked up to the right length and will get shopped down at some point this week

as for the cluttered room…thats what happens when there are 3 kids in the house…as soon as we tidy up…the stuff reappears

as for the decal…it says gonzy…not fonzy and it was a test sample to see how it stuck to the frame as the paint finish is different to that on the blue frame…me and a friend are starting a custom decal/graphic business so we were testing random samples to different paint finishes to see how the stick…once we’re up and running we will be able to produce custom or replica decals for most applications

No work stand and not in the shed / garage / workshop.

So that’s a fail from me.

That sounds like a plastic faced mallet.

I’d expect a rubber mallet to be black, but I suspect they can come in different colours…
