Hello, I’m neither doctor nor physio type but did/still do have groin issues. Went to a specialist in Wimbledon that was not cheap but really good. They didn’t think mine was a Gilmores but couldn’t confirm as I didn’t want to pay for a scan.
Went away with lots of exercises to strengthen the muscles in the area and hamstrings etc, I’m guessing that sort of thing might benefit you to stabilise the area generally. My advice is get a second opinion if your not sure, I can dig out the details of the guys I saw if you like, they are proper specialists in groins?
Mines still very bloody irritating but manageable provided I don’t do big changes in direction, so that was the end of football for me….
