- Do I need a provisional licence for my CBT test if I hold a car licence?
Just about to book my CBT through groupon. £57.50!
It states that I need to bring along my provisional licence and paper part. If I hold a full driving licence can I take that along with paper part instead? Googling isn’t clear and the office is shut for the weekend. I imagine I’ll be fine.
I didn’t think that you could apply for a provisional if I hold a car license already.. The advert T&Cs just aren’t clear.Posted 4 years agoaracerSubscriber
I had to get car provisional put on my licence (had a full bike licence already) and also had to redo the bloomin theory test
Those of us who’ve never done a theory test have motorbike provisional by default. Mind you I’d also struggle with bringing my license and the paper part.Posted 4 years agogmex619Member
Check the back of your license. At the top it should say A1 A2 and A iirc. With pics of bikes on there. If it does and has no dates its got entitlements. I have a full car license and I have too redo my CBT as it lapsed and I just bring my paper and plastic license and I’m good too go.Posted 4 years ago
