Decided my V8’s from 2000 could use a spot of grease & before i know it, there is a shower of bearings all over the floor.

Can any anyone tell me how many go in each end? Please.

don’t you just inject new grease in through the grease port ?

Did V8’s have a grease port?  Didn’t think they even had bearings, just bushings. V12’s have bearings but the latest ones have no grease port…

The early ones don’t have the grease port.

Loose ball bearings instead of bushings as well.

IIRC cup and cone outboard and inboard and  a grub screw grease port on mine

Loose ball bearings in V8’s are 26 per pedal (13 per end) iirc

Grease port’s are pointless imo, if there is dirt or sand in there, pushing more grease in wont fix any issues

Your better off stripping the pedal down and checking for any dirt/damage to the cups, bearings, cone nuts etc…then rebuild

The newer version 2 V8’s use bushings at both ends
